The last several weeks have been a little crazy for obvious reasons I’ve shared with you already, but also because I’ve been working on a new project for Wayfair that I can finally tell you about today. I’m doing a YouTube series on their channel called “Inspiration Insiders”, where I’ll be sharing a new project every week over the next couple of months.
I have learned (and am still learning) so much about video throughout this process. It’s been a totally different experience for this girl who mainly considers herself a writer. I think it’s a lot of fun, but there’s still that part of putting yourself (and your Southern accent) out there on camera that makes my stomach get in one big knot. Maybe it’s the voices of my kids, who seem to be my worst critics. “You look weird.” “You sound weird.” They are reassuring in every way. ;)
The biggest challenge in making these videos at home has been finding a clean spot and a quiet time and place to shoot them. Ideally, you want no background noise, and that’s virtually impossible around here.
This week’s video is an introduction of our family and my blog. My husband wanted to know why he didn’t get to be in the video, but he was at work. Maybe next time. . . If you have a minute, (I think) I’d love for you to watch, and clicking the little “thumbs up” under the video on Youtube would help me out. (Thanks!)
