You can see the rest of these beautiful home here.
I have no idea what time of the year this photo was taken but this image feels quintessentially fall to me. The striped sofa makes the space but also works as a neutral when layered with the pillows and rug. I like how the color is really focused on the floor, with mostly neutral upholstery and walls, but notice that trim painted a few shades darker for contrast. So smart. The rest of the magic is really in the layers–soft window treatments, the pleated lamp shade and mismatched pillows. I also like the mix of abstract and very traditional bird art. The wood tone tables blend in seamlessly.
Paint colors shown: Soft Chamois and Pashmina (Benjamin Moore).
Love it!!! Good eye Emily!
So pretty! Looking for a non-white/cream neutral sofa myself…food for thought–thank you!
Are the curtain rods curved? I love this room and your breakdown of it.
I think they are!
Can you link the white fluffy thing on the sofa? LOL
I had to go back and look to see what you were talking about! :)
Pretty. Refined.
Several designers have books just out or soon to be released. I’ m on that train.
I’m hooked on Homeworthy episodes on YouTube!
It’s so warm and inviting! Love the pup too!
Hi! Love the picture but like your picks better!
I have the same curtain rods and long white drapes which I purchased at Pottery Barn – they are called French Returns.
Love your Blog!
Great taste! I absolutely love this house and the decor. Thank you for posting.
Love the House and being able to concentrate on one house and how she put everything together. I like the quirky English style of decorating. I also have the same cream curtains and French Returns from Pottery Barn in my sun room and love them!
Great choice, Emily! I love this design and the way you break it down in such an effective manner!
