I don’t know about you, but I usually don’t think twice about buying a pair of earrings or a new lipstick when I need a pick me up. However, I will continue to use the same ratty dish towels for years in my kitchen. Since I spend 90% of my day in this space, why do I do this? Even if it’s just pretty scoops for our coffee canister or glass dispensers for the dish soap, it can make me feel better about the task that lies before me (cleaning, cooking, cleaning again. . . ).
If your kitchen (or mind) could use a small refresh, I’ve put together a list of little, everyday “pretties” that I found on Amazon. Because if we have to do it, it might as well be nice to look at–right? Let me know if there are other items in your kitchen that could use updating that I didn’t include.
A+. Fantastic!
Gosh, this is so true! I don’t hesitate to grab anything my family needs (or wants) as little prizes or pick-me-ups, but use a spatula with a melted handle that scratches my finger over and over! This is just the kind of refresh I need!
I appreciate this ….. it IS the little things sometimes.
Emily- could I ask for your review of your fridge? We are in the process of a remodel and I am looking for a large capacity side by side. Looked at high end units but the capacity is so low! Love the look of yours if you find it meets your needs- your family is much larger than mine! I do a lot of cooking. Thanks! Ava
It’s worked great for us. I wouldn’t say it feels too large by any means but it’s deep enough to hold multiple milk jugs and pizza boxes. (The important stuff!) I thought I would miss having a front door ice maker but I think it actually saves us a lot of watery messes.
