There is no one in our house more appreciative of the effort that goes into Christmas decorating than my two nine-year-olds and I want to enjoy the *magic* while it lasts. I’ve teamed up with Walmart to add some cozy Christmas touches to their room and they’re thrilled with it all.
Remember that scene at the end of Elf where the little girl is sitting in her cozy bed watching Santa fly through Central Park on the news? That kept popping into my head as I pulled all of this together and I wanted to create the same feel. I found reindeer sheets that worked perfectly with their striped comforters. I also hung little boxwood wreaths around their reading lights and found this vintage-inspired tree. (It’s battery operated and shuts off automatically after they’ve gone to sleep.) The peppermint and “cheer” pillows are their favorite additions.
I found everything online at Walmart. No crowds, no shipping (free with $35+ orders) and fast two-day delivery. No added holiday stress and happy kids are a good combination. Find more holiday cheer for kids’ spaces here.
Thanks to Walmart for sponsoring this post.
