Although we haven’t quite hit fall weather in the Carolinas yet, I think the anticipation of dressing for cooler days is one of the most fun parts of the season. I always feel more put together in a jacket and I’ll forever love a turtleneck and ponytail combo. I also love when I find a brand that nearly always works for me. I’ve bought several pieces from Walmart Fashion’s Free Assembly line since it launched last year and am partnering with them this month to share some of my favorites. I find the pieces to not only be good quality but the majority of it is neutral, making it easy to mix, match and layer.
All of these pieces are as easy to shop as they are to wear. Walmart offers 2-day free shipping on any order $35+ and free returns by mail or to the store.

The colors seem so blah. As a brunette who has recently gone “salt and pepper”, my best colors have always been brights or shades of pinks, greens and blues. Not to sound negative, but I rarely wear a t-neck and will never again wear a bodysuit! LOL!! Perhaps this is not “my” year of fashion?! I do like the flowy blouse – will check to see if it comes in colors, and the fatigue jacket (again if different color).
What about pants styles? I’m dying to try a pair of the wide leg, cropped pants with booties. Loft and Gap have ribbed knit ones that I think would work better (more flowy, not stiff). Here in TN we do not get terribly cold winters (not often anyway) and our cold season is pretty short, thank goodness. I love warm weather clothes!
I recently discovered this brand over the summer and ordered a couple items – a dress and t-shirt; and have loved wearing both!
Cute pieces! As much as I loathe Walmart for what they’ve done to our small businesses across the country, I must say they have stepped up their fashion offerings.
I realize this is a paid promo for you, but only 2% of fashion workers are being paid a living wage, and Walmart is a big part of the problem. Cute clothes, but at what price?
