Well, that was a fast month–and my kids so kindly reminded me this morning that it’s only 86 days until Christmas. What is happening? Around here, we’re in full volleyball/soccer/basketball mode and getting ready to celebrate my oldest’s 17th birthday. He was starting kindergarten when I started blogging. Another example of time passing quickly, but let’s not dwell on that today. . . Keep reading for the “good things” I discovered in September.
These blue and white planters.
These velvet pillow covers with welting detail.
Worth sharing again: my favorite joggers. I just tuck the drawstring in when I want to dress them up.
This lightweight puffer jacket.
I bought this plaid blazer to wear with jeans.
But, I’ll always love a utility jacket. (Can you tell I’m ready to wear layers??)
Just found one of my favorite sweatshirts in a tunic length.
How cute are these little chinoiserie bathroom accessories?
I’m writing another blog post about these soon, but affordable, washable rugs found here.
In the middle of this book and loving it.
I’m carrying this little crossbody. Will I ever go back to big bags again?
I’m finding lots of great tops and accessories in this shop.
These door mats. (I just added the seasalt pattern to our back porch.)
Shows I would recommend: this documentary and this docu-series.
An Etsy shop to bookmark: affordable replacement slipcovers for IKEA sofas (with great reviews).
You are ready to wear layers LOL! Here I am loving the last of summer. I love spring/summer clothing so much better than the layers of cold weather and I absolutely hate wearing a coat! I will have to say that is a cute tunic sweatshirt and I might even have to have it! haha!! Thankfully here in TN we don’t have a long season of really cold weather.
May I ask where you bought your black glass storm door? Thank you!
Hi Rhonda, I believe we ordered it from Home Depot. It’s been several years.
Great suggestions Emily, thank you! I have been on the lookout for blue and white planters in that size. Thanks!!
