I’ll start off with the most obvious “good thing” of the past month. We’re back in school! Now if only we can stay there. . . Besides getting back to a routine (and having a little time for myself to work again!), I’m sharing more good things I discovered in August. I feel like I should preface this post by saying I know it’s a sad, hopeless time for many. I know a new sweatshirt won’t bring happiness or world peace. This is just the fluffy stuff and hopefully a very small escape for you, if only for a few minutes. On the subject of going back to school, I ordered these personalized scripture cards for my kids. (I have to say, one of the sweetest sounds is hearing the twins read these every night.)
Another inexpensive, personalized gift: these leather luggage tags.
My favorite sweatshirt tunic is back (runs large). I just ordered this hooded one, too.
This layered bracelet (with an easy magnetic clasp).
A perfect crossbody bag for fall.
This is the best pepper grinder I’ve owned.
I also added this under-the-sink organizer to our kitchen.
And these pretty canisters to our countertops.
Looking beyond these 90-degree days. . . I do love a (shorter sleeve) turtleneck.
Another good transition top for early fall.
An amazing price for a set of these pillow covers. (Bought the 24″ for our sofa.)
Still some of my favorite white sheets.
Ballard Designs now has wallpaper, including the trellis print in my entryway.
This candle in warm leathered amber. (Seems to go in and out of stock often.)
This jacket may be my fall splurge.
And finally, a feel-good movie (inspired by a true story) that I only just recently watched.
See more of my Good Things lists here.
That movie is so touching….. I really enjoyed watching that during 2020. Glad you enjoyed it too!
Happy Fall.
Can we see the new canisters on your countertops??
Yes–coming soon in a post. Working on that this week!
Thank you so much for mentioning the leather luggage tags! I visited the shop and ordered Christmas gifts for 2 hard to buy for young adults 😁
