With all of the first-week enthusiasm that comes with getting everyone back in school, I’m working on getting our house back in order and making things easier for our daily routines. Several years ago, I replaced all of our mismatched towels with all white ones for the kids’ bathrooms. It sounds good in theory. Until. . . you’re constantly finding wet, white towels laying around and nobody claims any of them, ever. I’m trying a new strategy of changing up the towels (and replacing the very gross bathmat while I’m at it) in the boys’ bathroom first. I’ve been very happy with these from the new Gap Home collection, sold exclusively at Walmart. They’re soft and just thick enough. Plus, I do love a reversible stripe. . .
Gap Home is a wonderful new source for bedding and bath basics. (They have kitchen wares too!) Besides the towels and mat, I also ordered the t-shirt soft comforter for my daughter’s room and it lives up to its name. Just like their clothing brand, everything in the home collection is classic and easy to incorporate with what you have. You’ll find lots of soft textures and easy-to-interchange shades of blues, whites, grays and tans. It’s really a great go-to line if you need to update basics or start someone off in a new apartment or dorm room.
PS–Walmart always offers free 2-day shipping with any $35+ online order!
Do you mind sharing your source for the bathroom vanities? Thanks!
We had this one built by a local carpenter when we did the bathroom renovation.
