3 Inexpensive Organizing Products I’ve Bought Recently

March 11, 2020

I’m no organizing expert (you’ve probably figured that out), but I recently bought a few inexpensive products that are making my daily routines a little easier. I hesitated to post these because they’re not all that pretty, but sometimes saving your sanity trumps styling.

Lazy susans. I’ve added these to both my pantry for spices and to the top shelf of my fridge. I wish I had room for more; they make it so much easier to find what I’m trying to grab quickly. I bought both a double-decker one (similar) and the clear ones here.

Metal can organizer. I seemed to keep buying the same canned foods over and over, just adding to the collection because I could never really tell what I had. I like how this organizer lets me divide them out and see what I have–or need more of–easily.can-organizer-pantry

Shoe racks. Ideally, I’d remodel my closet today with built-ins and pretty drawers but that’s not in the cards right now. I’m hanging my head in shame as I post this “before” picture but it does illustrate what a big difference a little vertical storage can make. The best part about this project is the price. These racks were under $20 each and a snap to put together.shoe-organizer-cloest-before-after

What a fabulous post! I have shoe organizers that take up SO much room. I have to measure, but I’m quite certain I’ll be ordering that in about two seconds, and maybe the lazy susans as well. :) Thank you.

It’s always the little things! I bought these drawers after seeing @tinyandtidy.co use them and they are shallow enough to fit in both my linen closet and under my sink around the pipes. Fantastic!

I organized my shoes a few weeks ago. I wish I had as much room as you did! I put a few pairs in the clear plastic shoe boxes in my closet, threw away the ones in bad shape, gave a few away and ended up with 10 “everyday” wear that fit on my current shelf in the garage. The lazy susans in the cabinets are the best.

I also use lazy susans in my bathroom to hold various things and it is so helpful! No more lost items pushed to the back of my cabinet.
