Although I always hate to see the end of Summer, I’m going to give a the back-to-school schedule and a quiet house top billing on this month’s Good Things list. I rarely turn on the TV or music when I’m home alone–do you?
Since I missed July’s post, I’m doubling up on Good Things this month:
This very affordable brand for workout clothing, like these tanks, capri leggings and pants.
This Etsy art shop for quirky, colorful portraits.
I went back to my favorite root spray.
Love the button collar on these sweatshirts. . .
And the color of this pleated midi dress.
This classic trench for under $50.
These slip-on sneakers have arrived and I’m a fan.
This is the other shoe purchase I made for Fall.
I added these planters to our front porch–and kept the faux topiaries in them.
I also changed up our door mat.
This Better Homes & Gardens gold flatware–now at a lower price.
These gold “bamboo” hoops from Holland & Birch.
After much searching, this rug just arrived for our living room. Stay tuned. . .
Love the look of these delicate rings.
My blender finally gave out so I bought this one.
Many of you have been following the journey of Lindsay’s 7-year-old daughter over the last week. One way we can support her is to make a purchase from her online art store that her team is still running while she’s away or to donate through their GoFundMe page. Also join me in praying for a miracle in her complete recovery.
See all of my previous Good Things here.
Looking forward to hearing more about the rug. I have been looking at one from Ballard that looks almost identical, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
I looked at that one, too, but I like the backing on this one!
Is the new rug the diamond pattern sisal in the photo above? If so I would love to get your take on it as we’re about to put hardwoods in our family room and dining room. I’ve been looking at jute and sisal but I’m concerned the latter will not be soft enough for the family room. Also, in your photo it appears a little darker than it does in the online listing. Is that the case?
~Thanks
Is it sisal. I ordered the beige color. So much better than the jute one we just moved out. Latex backing so it stays in place. Sisal isn’t quite as soft but unless you have babies on the floor, I don’t think it’s too rough for bare feet.
Look forward to these posts every month
Loved these links, but was especially moved by the information about little Eva. Thanks for sharing, was able to join the family in prayer and in a donation. Now to go home and hug my babies…
Have you stopped blogging? If not, for some reason I’m no longer able to get new posts. The last one I can see on my computer was posted Sept. 4th.
No but I’ve had all kinds of site issues. Hit refresh and you should see the new site design. If not, please let me know!!
