Walmart’s New Eclectic Decor Collection (Flower Home)

May 13, 2019 12 Comments

If you’re into eclectic, Walmart’s newest home decor collection is for you. Flower Home is the new line designed by Drew Barrymore for Walmart and there’s a little bit of everything.

Flower Home is just what you’d expect from the actress; it’s offbeat, colorful and a little quirky. And as you would expect from Walmart, it’s affordable. I added pattern to my teenage son’s room with this happy yellow bedding set. It was just $65 for the queen quilt and shams, and I think it adds a fun contrast against his dark green walls.

The dog-in-a-suit art print is just strange enough to work in boy’s bedroom–and I like the colors. (Also under $60 and a great size at 24×29 inches.)

Besides affordable bedding, the collection has some other standouts including a really cute dog bed (although I don’t have a dog) and this lamp with a face. I also highlighted some of my favorite Flower Home art in a recent Saturday 6 post. (And don’t forget Walmart’s free 2-day shipping for all orders over $35.)

I think it’s fun to see Walmart teaming up with more celebrities. What do you think of Drew’s line?

Bummer to see this partnership – our family doesn’t shop at Wal-Mart for many reasons. Primarily because they use foreign labor that includes child workers and they underpay their employees but especially women. This terrible pay scale contributes to a reliance on government welfare programs, while Wal-Mart takes advantage of huge government subsidies. We vote with our pocket book, and our family votes to not support Wal-Mart.

What son wouldn’t love these additions to his bedroom! The yellow and green is a great combination and the basketballs in the wire basket looks great, while serving a purpose! Thank you for sharing Emily!

This looks great! You are so good! I would love to see how you would design a tweens (girl) room using Walmart.

Walmart is really stepping up their game. The two day shipping is really fast. I really like the look of this bedding. Drew Barrymore has put together a great collection. Your son does a good job making his bed!😉

I’ve always thought Drew was cute & quirky. And her new line at Walmart is so her.
The face lamp reminds me of something Jonathan Adler would do though.

Where is the blue and white swirl/marble on top his dresser from? Also from Walmart? I don’t see it in the site.

I love your son’s room and how you decorate! I am stuck in a crayola box of one color. I can’t figure out how to use color so beautifully as you do. Where did you find the knob’s on your son’s dresser? I am giving my son’s dresser a face lift and I love these knobs! I wish you could explain how you incorporate color. I love navy blue, but struggle intermingling other colors!!
