You know I don’t put a lot of weight on trends or color forecasts but this year’s Pantone Spring and Summer palette is so much fun. Colorful, happy combos that are perfect for updating a tired leather sofa or an all-tan set of living room furniture. A couple of good pillows may be worth the investment. They can change the whole feel of a room without buying new furniture or even painting a wall. I’ve put together some pretty fabric combos below (all found on Etsy) that are inspired by the bold shades forecasted for fashion.
Beautiful colors and pillows! I am really liking greens this spring. Thank you for sharing and inspiring!
I am looking to change out my throw pillows. Currently I have 4 pillows on my sofa two matching pillows on each side. I want to move toward something more asymmetrical.
I love these pillows and color combinations. Question: I have a sofa and a love seat in my family room. How do you like to distribute the pillows and combinations? I tend towards a symmetrical look but man, that’s a lot of pillows…especially if I layer them (which I like the look of). It can also be expensive (8 pillows) and frustrating when my teenage son lays (let’s be real…throws) them on the floor when he comes into the room. I especially like the first combo you show (I am a blue and white girl at heart but I love the splash of color for summer. Would love your thoughts and your eye. The furniture is a medium cream tone on tone herringbone fabric.I simply love your style!
I’m not a trend follower either but since the Pantone Color of the Year is one of “my” big colors I’m on board this go round!! Great pillow covers! I see some of my faves in there and I’m ready for a Spring pillow refresh!
