Much to my kids’ dismay, there are no Halloween inflatables in our front yard, but I did add a mix of real and faux pumpkins and some Fall color in the form of planters on our porch.
I also added a new welcome mat. If you’re looking for something thick and substantial in a simple design, this one from Target is a great option. My faux topiaries are also going strong. I have them weighted with a couple of bricks and pea gravel. I just sat a few pansies down inside the planters.
Instead of mums, I layered shades of green with cabbages and a trailing vine. I also used Cool Wave pansies (like wave petunias) for the first time this year.
The plantings and pumpkins look really nice and gave me some ideas. But – I’m afraid they’re overshadowed by the cutie helping mama!
It looks so cute! I haven’t put out anything for Fall. Maybe I’ll take this year off from doing it.
And get an earlier start on Christmas for once.
Ha! The Halloween inflatables! Your porch looks very festive and neutral- which I love! I can’t do orange!
