I have a few holiday gift guides planned over the next couple of weeks, starting with one that might work for lots of people on your list. I’ve included some pretty paper calendars, planners and notecards, some of my favorite recent reads, a few good design coffee table books and some fun gifts for any reader or writer in your life.
A few notes. . .
For the reader: Hope Heals (a true story) is a winner for anybody needing an inspiring or encouraging read. The Paris Wife and The Underground Railroad are completely different but both good for fans of historical fiction. And, Ordinary Grace was one of my favorite novels of the year.
Also, have I mentioned how much I love my Kindle lately? I’m a real-books-only convert. . . I’ve also included a cute carrying pouch similar to what I use. I like reading on it without the bulk of a case.
The Simplified planner is great for anyone who likes a paper calendar in hand. I had one last year and gave one as a gift. Several different patterns to choose from and it comes in a pretty box.
Stay tuned. I’ll also be sharing things my kids like, wearable gifts and a few picks for the home.
Thank you! Always need ideas especially for our grandkids, five boys and a girl in one family and one boy in the other….lots of decisions and keeping track of previous gifts, too. :)
I just received a book of the month subscription for a gift and now thinking of a few people I may gift that too as well! Love the shirt you posted ;)
I loved Ordinary Grace , too. Just read Coming Clean this was a very interesting book based on a true story. Sticks with you.
A Librarian recommended a book to me while I was recommending Ordinary Grace to her. It is a Young adult read. She said after 14 years of not buying books she had to own it when she finished. It is a very quick read and a good book called The Train I Ride. Author Paul Mosier has a sequel coming soon. If I had to pick one of these as a fav , I’d pick all three. ha
I’m reading “The Paris Wife” from your previous recommendation, and I am enjoying it way into the night. A few of your other gift ideas would be great for family members on my list–thank you! Since deciding what to give others can be so stressful to me.
Thank you! I love your blog, your book recommendations and your sense of style!!!!
I ordered the KS pencil pouch for my son’s girl friend. She loves Kate Spade!
