A Bathroom Lighting Source You Need To Know About

July 11, 2017

Since I’ve recently spent hours of my life online searching for bathroom lighting for the upstairs renovations, I feel like I have a pretty good handle on what’s out there. And I can tell you that lighting–especially pretty wall sconces–are expensive. I was so tired of looking that I almost pulled the trigger on a much pricier one before I happened onto this one for the girls bathroom:

It was exactly what I had been looking for: simple, clean and just the right price. This find led me to research more lighting from the same company. I found some really good ones also from Capital Lighting that I thought you might want to know about. Some of their styles are very similar to higher end designer lighting but the pricing seems to be much more reasonable.

I sourced all of these from Overstock, but Amazon carries some as well.

PS–Did you know it’s Amazon Prime Day? I thought it might be a good opportunity to get a jumpstart on Christmas shopping (yeah, right), but so far I have two wet brushes in my cart. :)

Bathroom lighting is SO hard!! We need over the mirror lighting and I’ve been searching forever, that’s especially hard to find good choices of! Love #5 and #12 is my favorite, but I’m wondering how hard those shades would be to keep clean… #hairsprayoverload The sconces you chose are awesome!

Thanks for the tip. I would never think to look for lighting on Overstock or Amazon.

These are sooooo good! I’m looking for a light for my back entry that has no windows to replace the fluorescent “boob” light that is currently there and I am stumped.

Sheila, I just bought these from PB for our (windowless) laundry room and they give off great light.

Weird, the links never work on my phone or iPad with any linked post. Has anyone else mentioned it?

I haven’t had anyone mention it. If you have the time, I’d love to see the error message you’re getting. Might be something we can fix. Thanks :)

What a gorgeous light fixture in that first photo! I kinda need one right now, haha. I’ve never thought about changing my bathroom lights, but now I feel like a must. So many beautiful options!

    Thanks for the lighting source!!!

FYI, on the wet brushes. They’re great, but we like the tangle teaser even better for my daughter’s long, thick hair and sensitive scalp. It works far better than the wet brushes when her hair is dry and tangled.

The key is the finish. If the gold is “off” the light looks cheap. What do these look like in person?
