Just some of the good things I discovered over the last month. . .
1 IT Cosmetics “Your Skin But Better” CC Cream. I’m putting this foundation on my list for a second time because I like it so much. It’s $38 but I bought my first tube at Christmas and just bought my second within the last month. I love that it has SPF 50 for Summer and there’s a new color, “Medium Tan”, that I’m using now.
2 Navy Flounce Sleeve Dress. This is the second dress I’ve ordered by this brand on Amazon in the last two months. A great price and the quality is good. It’s a thicker, waffle texture that you could wear year round. (This is the first dress I ordered and it’s now on sale for just $22!)
3 A leopard clutch goes with almost everything. I carry mine (very similar to this one) to church a lot of Sundays so I don’t have to lug my big black hole of a tote bag.
7 Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger is one of my new favorite books. (Possibly in my top 10…) The author is a great story teller and I loved the 13-year-old narrator. I’m surprised I didn’t hear more about this book.
8 & 9 My husband got this Bose bluetooth speaker for his birthday and we love to sit out on our porch at night at listen to coffee house covers on Pandora. Apparently, any bad 80s song can sound amazing when it’s done coffee house style. :)
10 Laura Trevey phone cases. I finally tossed my ugly but practical iPhone cover and got a cuter one for Summer. It just so happens that my friend (and watercolor artist) Laura has her own line, featuring her artwork on each one.
11 I’m all about buying pieces that will (hopefully) stand the test of time. I searched high and low for the perfect gold mirror for the girls’ bathroom and finally found this one. I think it’s a classic, along with this blue and white garden stool. It’s already lived in three different rooms since I’ve had it.
I was also recently asked by Rank and Style to share ten of my Summer style favorites. I’ve included everything here:
Happy holiday weekend! I guess it still counts. This Tuesday 4th is confusing me.
