I’ve become a big fan of peel and stick wallpaper since moving into this house. If I can help it, I’ll never use paste again. Not only is it super easy to install (and remove), but there are so many patterns available now that you can use it to achieve almost any look. It’s really ideal for renters, dorm dwellers or home owners looking for a “quick fix” for a particular decorating eyesore. I’ve pulled together some of the best removable wallpapers on Etsy that really don’t look like wallpaper at all and am sharing a few ideas for how to use them.

If you’re thinking of tackling one of these projects, most Etsy sellers will provide samples. Would love to hear any other ideas you have for these papers!
Thanks to Etsy for sponsoring this post.

Do these only work on flat walls? I’d love to try something like this, but my walls are very textured.
Hi Sabrina, I have stick/peel wallpaper in 2 of my rooms. You do need to have smooth walls – I don’t think you’d be happy with it on textured walls. However, Spoonflower.com will send free samples if you want to give it a try. Good luck!
I’m going to try disguising my indoor cinder block wall by covering the entire wall with insulating foam board (very light weight). Then I’ll apply the peel n’ stick. The header trim has to be changed to a wider width to hide the top edge. Hopefully, heavy duty Command Strips will keep them on the wall. I’m a renter and can’t do anything permanent. We’ll see how it goes!
I would like to use removable wallpaper inside of a nice China cabinet and the honeycomb pattern shown would be perfect. I’m concerned about a sticky residue if I remove it five years from now. Has anyone had an experience with this?
Thanks for the inspiration!
Love these wallpapers would like to decorate my rooms with brick style wall papers
I love this post!! I definitely want to try this. Thanks for the new shop introductions!!
Great ideas! I have a love/hate relationship with wallpaper. Love the patterns but hate the removal. This peel and stick would be a lifesaver! I would love to use the shiplap or the brick on a beach condo bedroom wall to give it some personality! Thanks for sharing these ideas.
What about covering a plain builder grade pantry or closet door? I might give it a go – thanks for the inspiration!
Brilliant pairings! Gotta love the peel & stick wallpapers they are the best~

Such awesome ideas Emily!
Perfect and easy solution for existing outdated wallpaper. I loved the faux tiled bathroom floor image.
Do you really think it would stick to a floor? And would it hold up? If so, I would love to use it over my tiled floor in the laundry room.
I was wondering the same thing about using it on a floor?
Maybe it requires some kind of seal coat.
Has anyone tried it?
Advice?
Do u know if the brick & stacked stone wallpapers have texture/dimension or r they flat…like a photo of the real thing?
They’re smooth–I actually have samples in hand. But, very realistic looking…
Can this be used on Refridgerators?
Are you able to use this over old paneling?
How would I go about finding these and obtaining a couple samples?!
What about ceiling coverage? I HATE our popcorn ceilings, but having the popcorn removed and redone is really expensive. Any ideas?
Can I use in the kitchen behind gas stove?
Absolutely love these ideas!
Can this be used over old wall paper? I just cannot remove the old.
