one.
This home shows little restraint—and I love that.
two.
Such a good “before and after” design project.
three.
This just made me laugh. A Notorious B.I.G. birthday party for a 1-year-old.
The baby’s expression is the best.
four.
If you like reading about other women’s beauty routines, this is a good series.
five.
Something for everyone in this portfolio. (I love this room.)

(This one is pictured above.)
PS—What do you all think of the new Instagram story (live video) feature? It’s all new to me (I ‘ve never done SnapChat) and am still undecided about how/if I’m going to use it on a regular basis. Are we going to like the people we follow more—or less—now? I’m undecided about that, too… ;)
Good morning, Emily :) FYI, links #2 & #3 are incorrect. Have a wonderful weekend!
Emily, I love your blog, the content and your voice. I am, however, frustrated by the amount of ads in this post. In each one of your six topics, there is an ad in the middle of it making it difficult to differentiate between your content and the ad. I know blogs need to be monetized to continue to provide content, and I’m ok with that. It is just hard to tell the difference between the two in this post. I hope you don’t mind a little constructive feedback. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Erin, are you reading on your phone? My ad team company made some changes this week. I appreciate your feedback.
After I open your blog on my IPad I use the Reader View icon & then there are no ads anywhere on the page. Makes it much more pleasant to read.
I use that on most blogs.
I didn’t know about this option on iPad! I will now enjoy my blogs much more. Thanks!
Thanks for the response Emily. Yes, I was reading on my phone.
I have the same problem. And on my phone it is awful, so much so I just skip until I have time to read on my laptop. But even on the computer, the ads are annoying.
They’re trying out something new on the mobile page…So, we’ll see. Sorry they bug you on the desktop, as well. If only we could all blog for free–right? ;)
I love the Instagram stories. I’ll probably stray away from snap chat. I just can’t keep up with both. Instagram stories makes it seem more personable.
Just to let you know, the link for #2 goes back to #1 (the Camille Styles site). And thanks for sharing all these!
The link for TWO is the same as ONE. …and I’m itching to see 2! :-)
….and THREE is ONE also. :)
The second and first links are both to #1 – and I’m curious to see #2!
Hi everybody! Sorry for the incorrect links earlier this morning. All is fixed now! I have a good excuse :) I couldn’t sleep on Thursday night so I got up at 3:30 in the morning and worked on Saturday’s post. Maybe I wasn’t quite as awake as I thought I was…
Thanks for the fix!
I don’t mind the new feature on Instagram. It’s easier than using Snapchat. I could never figure that out. And I don’t have any young kids in the house to help me with it. 😜
Love this roundup…especially that historic condo!
Loving IG Stories…never did Snapchat…I’ve already unfollowed a few people because of their cussing in their IG Stories or their incessant posting of stories without a point, but other people’s stories make me like them even more, including yours. I haven’t done one yet but soon!
Love the round up – thanks for them every week! I’m not really sure about the instagram videos.. I do use snapchat and I like it for that.. I enjoy seeing the beautiful pictures in instagram and really don’t want to have anything else lol! Right now it’s not a bother because I can just scroll down and ignore them :) we’ll see how long that last
