Never has a ceiling fan made me stop and say “oh, wow”—until I saw this one. The Peregrine Industrial fan from Rejuvenation is sleek, stylish and pretty(?!).
No matter how much we like the look of a pretty pendant or chandelier, some of us just simply live in environments (or with husbands) that require a ceiling fan. (I wrote more on that here.) The trend seems to be the sleeker, the better.
This particular fan comes in several finishes, but I’m especially drawn to the brushed satin (brass) finish with matte black blades. (It’s pretty sharp!) There’s also an option with a light, but I’d still rather skip the light on a fan and use lamps, if possible.
You can see all of the Peregrine fan finishes here.
Now the real question: would you pay $500 for a ceiling fan?
.
As I type I’m sitting under a ceiling fan with the A/C cranked – and its only 9:30 am, and this combo is the only way to beat the heat wave that’s settled (for days) here. To be honest, right now I don’t care about the aesthetics of said fan, just that it helps create comfort. So its established I’m not a fan hater. I’ve previously purchased “bargain” fans that were not, as they had to be quickly replaced due to poor performance, wobbliness, and annoying noise. So if the $500 fan was quality + performance + pretty, I’d swipe my VISA. In fact, it would be an easier decision for me to spend $500 on a ceiling fan than it would be on a light fixture because there are lots of sources for attractive lighting at low, mid and high price points, but not so much with fans.
Living in the north of Scotland this isn’t a decision I need to make but I do think this is the nicest fan I have seen from international home & design blogs. We are currently having a 3 day warm spell and feel very lucky, our summers aren’t usually anything to rave about but this year it’s been awful. 3 days of sunshine feels like paradise 😂😂
LOVE IT! Texas and ceiling fans go together like bread and butter. A MUST have for the summer months. I am in the market to replace the fan in our living room and this is perfect! $500 for a good-looking fan like this is do-able. I paid that much for the Casablanca white fans we have in our bedrooms – maybe more. Thanks for sharing!
It is beautiful but I would have a hard time paying that much for a fan because I have so many fans in my house. I live in Texas and everyone has fans in most of the rooms here. It’s a necessity unfortunately.
As someone who loathes a ceiling fan aesthetically…. I would (and seriously MAY) swipe my Visa for it… the lonely light bulb protruding from my ceiling in our master bedroom is just begging for this!!!!!!!
I think $500 for a fan is a steal especially for how nice it looks. Cheap fans actually get replaced regularly around here so nothing is worse than getting a deal then paying an electrician to replace it again. I love that one for my bedroom. My husband is a fan lover so its nice to have one I don’t hate every time I look up.
Thank you so much for the Peregrine love, Emily!

You’re welcome. Hoping the trend of beautifully designed fans will catch on!
No!
Nope. And as I’m typing this its 95 degrees here in Florida.
Living in central TX a ceiling fan is a must have. We use our ceiling fans everyday, so I wouldn’t hesitate to spend the $500. But if you sign up for the Rejuvenation mailing list, they regularly run 20% off promotions 😉
I got to admit…it’s lovely.
Love that one! Fans are definitely necessary where I live. I just bought the Fanimation Spitfire for my living room – another beauty!
Totally! I’m in Florida and I have some lesser expensive fans in the bedrooms. I have chosen white with white ceilings in the hopes they would disappear into the background. However, in our great room I have a customized fan that I spent quite a bit more than $500 for. It’s attractive and functional. Sometimes you have to pay a little more to get both.
That is one beauty of a ceiling fan! I live in central FL so we have fans out of necessity in every room. I don’t think I could swallow that price even though I’m in love with it. I guess I could consider it in my main living room (but then I’d need 2). Thanks for putting this in my brain! Lol ;)
Yes. It makes such a difference Soo cool
I never thought I would spend $500 on a ceiling fan until now! We have fans in almost every room of the house. #southfloridagirl
The question is though does the price indicate quality or just it’s looks? I think I would live to regret the cleaning of a black fan because that baby would show the dust. We have loved all the Hampton Bay, Home Depot brand, fans at our house and they have been reliable and quiet and don’t wobble. They are typically $100 or less.
Fans in every room here in SW Florida and no…$500 is too much when we can spend a considerable amount less for great fans that hold up for years…tested and no probs.
Ha! Love the husband comment, my husband wants a ceiling fan in every room — the kitchen, the dining room, the breakfast nook! It’s hilarious :)
My home is located on the Central Coast of California. I am currently remodeling my family room. I want to replace my Casablanca ceiling fan that cost me more than $500(that was years ago). Also, I have a less expensive big-box-store fan that makes tick, tick, tick noises in my Master Bedroom. When I turn it on HIGH it scares me as I think it might just work itself off my ceiling! I love the Rejuvenation fan! I think I found what I’ve been looking for! Thanks for the post!
So glad! I know the exact ticking sound you’re talking about…
We have that very fan in our living room and LOVE it! It has six speeds and moves air like no other ceiling fan I’ve ever encountered. We live in SE Texas and I had to laugh at the comments from the other Texans who have no problem paying for a good ceiling fan. You do what you have to do when it’s hotter than the sun. ;-)
Good to hear from somebody who has it. Thanks!
Who makes the large brown console on the back?
