I love the concept of companies that are giving back and making lives better by what they produce and sell. 10 Made Design is one of those companies, but with a slightly different twist. It was started by two women with a vision of doing something that really mattered. Ten percent of all their profit goes to a specific charity that they support for a designated time. (So you know specifically where it’s going and who you’re helping when you buy something really pretty for your home.)
Their site offers a combination of products—some that are designed by them and then handcrafted by local artisan and, then, other pieces that are curated through their travels. (This inventory is limited and always changing.)
They are currently teaming up with project NEST (to give 10% of their profits). The block printed pillows (which I love!) are also helping female artisans in India by teaching them to sew and to start their own pillow-making businesses.
