It was a sweet surprise to see the pictures from our Refresh article in the newest issue of Better Homes & Gardens Bargain Decorating magazine. What a fun way to end our time there.
Whoops, I cropped out the kid who was sitting in the floor. . .
I’m promising you, patient readers, a tour of the new house tomorrow. Last week was kind of a hard adjustment to a new place (mainly for me), but I put my big three on the school bus (for the first time) this morning and am feeling good about getting in a new routine. Now, if I can just find the box that has my socks in it. One day at time. . .

Hello Emily! I can’t wait for the new house tour. I can only imagine what it’s been like trying to get settled especially with the start of school. I LOVE the idea of moving, but I also know it would put me over the edge…waaaaaaay over the edge! So, I will live vicariously through you as you make your new house a home and will be cheering you on every step of the way!
Congrats on another publish! That is so exciting! I am (not so) patiently waiting to see your new house because I know family comes first. I am sure the move was hard on all of you and especially right before school starts.
Glad to be in the same issue with you…again. :)
How exciting for you — congratulations! And hang in there. Moving to a new, foreign, place is really hard. It will get easier, and with time, it’s gonna feel like home!
