Just checking in today. I’m experiencing my first time at the High Point Furniture Market. For those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s a huge trade show where all of the furniture manufacturers show off their new lines. And, it just happens to be (a couple of hours) right down the road from me. (Do you remember the episode of Million Dollar Decorators where Mary McDonald went and was so appalled by how un-Hollywood her very normal—and pretty nice—hotel was? Too funny.) I’ve planned to go two times before but was either newly pregnant (and vomiting) or about to have some babies (and waddling). I’m all good to go this time. :)
I have my flat shoes packed and am ready to explore—and hopefully take lots of pictures for you. And, I’ll be checking in on Instagram if you want to follow along.
Lucky girl! It’s on my bucket list of interior design things to do, that and Round Top!
Going to Market is so fun (and overwhelming) but I have never been to High Point. Maybe next year. Have fun and take lots of pictures for us!
I’m fortunate in that my father in law works for Klaussner, so I’ve been to the market. I didn’t explore outside of klaussner because my family discount is that good. Looking forward to what you post!
Just got back from Market this evening. What a wonderful trade show! Look forward to hearing your thoughts on what you saw as new trends.
