(Free) Black And White Botanical Art

February 5, 2015

I’m a big fan of botanical art, as you probably know. But, lately, I’ve been noticing (and really liking) the pretty simplicity of more neutral botanical prints:

Want to create a similar look? I think a gallery of these black and white botanicals would be so pretty in gold frames (like the ones I used here). You can find these prints and several more on one of my favorite sites for free artwork:

I’ve been so drawn to black and white sketchy artwork lately. Maybe its their simplicity that balances the clutter and brightness that comes with having kiddos and their stuff. These are lovely. Thanks for sharing.

what a fantastic idea. So, tell me how you print these. Do you just print them off on your home printer on plain paper or do you get them printed elsewhere or on photo paper?

I think you could just print them off if you didn’t want them larger. I printed my own for the gallery wall in our last house.

Hi! I love your blog, just found you on Pinterest. For some reason this website isn’t working for me? Do you know if it has moved? Thank you!

So strange–it’s now linking to a completely different web site. The original site was: https://digitalcollections.nypl.org

I just did a quick search, though, and wasn’t able to find the same botanicals….

The link directs you to a site that no longer exists.
