Waffle-knit robe: I’ve been looking forever for a lightweight robe that’s really soft. I’m picky. This one works. (And, it’s on sale!)
Fleece wrap cardigan: I liked my navy one so much that I bought another (striped) one. It’s so soft and very forgiving. . . It feels like wrapping yourself in a blanket but more stylish :) I think I wore it five out of the seven days we were gone for Christmas vacation.
Annie (2014) soundtrack and You Amaze Us by Selah
: This is what we’re listening to in the car these days. One’s fun. One’s worshipful and wonderful. I highly recommend both.
Home Classics down comforter: We really needed a new comforter, and I bought this one with some Christmas money. It’s really fluffy but not too heavy. (I posted a picture of it our bed here so you can see the “fluff”.)
Kimono-sleeve jumpsuit: I’m not normally a jumpsuit kind of girl, but was surprised at how much I liked this on. And, it’s on sale right now for less than $26!

I love that fleece cardigan so much!
THANK YOU! I’ve been looking for a replacement for my old waffle knit robe I bought at Target 7 years ago!!
Ooh I love that jumpsuit and for that price I might be willing to try one. I always feel too short for them!
I don’t think you’re any shorter than me and it works great with heels. (I’m 5’3″, btw.)
Where is the Jumpsuit from? I love it!
New York and Company (Link in post.)
Where did you get the comforter? Love white bedding.
It’s from Kohl’s. Link is above in description (in post).
thanks for the great post! just popped over and bought a jumpsuit!!!
I just bought this fleece cardigan this week in dark gray. I love that you’re doing this kind of post. Please start a fashion and beauty blog too!
I think my black yoga pants and hooded sweatshirt posts would get old really quickly :)
Hope you guys are doing great! Just saw your boys on Keith’s FB the other day. What a sweet family you have! Miss seeing you.
we bought the annie soundtrack, too! i love to listen to it with or without emmy!
I love the idea of really paring down my wardrobe. I am retired, and have eliminated all corporate pieces from my wardrobe over the last few years, but I would really like to simplify….since I wear the same things over and over anyway. You have inspired me to get cracking.
So much of what you wrote about today has been on my mind. I’m in the midst of purging my closet and want to be more thoughtful to what I buy, I was a paralegal for 15 years before going to get my design degree and it’s time to let the professional (law office) clothes go, it’s time, I just don’t dress that way anymore and never plan to, also using the word so busy like it’s a badge of honor, I’m so guilty of that it’s just time to scale back on everything! Love love love your Saturday posts!!
That jumpsuit is so chic! Especially for the price! Talk about a score.
Have to have that striped cardigan, can’t find where it is from…
please do tell…
It’s from Nordstrom. The direct link is in the post :)
