Emily! Just.so.gorgeous.! And the kids in the pictures are just adorable. Merry Christmas!
Thanks :) They’re always underfoot so I decided to just go with it!
Beautiful and I love the pics of the children. They are growing up so fast.
So lovely, Emily. All of your “real life” shots are so sweet, and truly what make a house a home! Your mantle is lovely, and your porch is so inviting! I just switched out my glass lanterns from over my island because with them being over the stove, I couldn’t keep them clean. One of those things I never thought about before I lived with it! Still love yours!
Yes, mine is never 100% clean. Of course, you probably cook more than I do :)
Yay for flocked trees, I want to have one again, maybe next year? And the colorful family room tree tree with family ornaments is so sweet. But I am dying to know where you found the “hunting boots” on your front porch. They would be perfect for my equestrian loving daughter!
I found them on a Joss & Main sale last Christmas.
The photo of the twins sitting on the presents is precious. They are adorable. Love the flocked tree with the green ornaments.
I LOVE how packed with ornaments your living room tree is. Makes me want to stock up during the after Christmas sales!
Just gorgeous, Emily. I love the greenery all over and the green flocked tree. Merry Christmas!
Oh, I love this post. Love having a tour of your home at this time. Wishing you and your beautiful family a magical Christmas {and by magical I mean everyone is dressed, fed and band-aid free . . .that’s our definition!}.
Yes, that would be magical! (And, maybe add no fighting to that…)
Love the flocked tree with green ornaments! Im going to do that! I love your piano! Love all the greenery. Merry Christmas!
Your trees are beautiful! I love the pretty snow and green ornaments! I also love the boots on the porch! : )

Christmas Haul! http://www.beckyandbrittany.com/2014/12/christmas-haul.html
So pretty and the perfect amount of Christmas decorating, I scaled back a ton this year and feel like the house has never looked better. I love how the twins are always together in the photos like two little peas in a pod! They really need to stop growing up, they are getting way too big! Merry Christmas!!
Love your classic decor! Also would love to know your source for kitchen runner. Great colors! Thank you!
Ebay earlier this year–Seller name was ECarpetGallery.
Beautiful Emily — where can I buy the Praise God art piece? Love it!

I’ll rent mine out for a small fee :)
I am head over heels for the art above the piano– can you tell me who the artist is or where I can find something similar?

Beautiful, Emily! I love the shot of the sled, where all you can read is “flexible.” What a great reminder of how one must be this time of year. ;)
Gorgeous,
I love visiting your blog. Thank you for staying in there for those of us that work outside the home. You truly are in inspiration from God. I have wanted to share that I am so proud of the fact that you do not drink or at least there is no sign of anything like that on your blog. I truly admire that. My husband and I are not drinkers. Where did the black chairs come from, if I may ask? Also, in the winter future, do you think you could put some organizational hints or what is your cleaning schedule, (maybe you have a cleaning person?) or what might help me or us with a house like yours that always looks to clean & tidy. Thanks again. Merry Christmas and I hope you and your precious family have a blessed Christmas Holiday! In Christ’s Love, M
Did you get your fresh garland from Sams or Costco? I get mine there every year, and just a little tip… it bugged me when it will lay flat on one side and hang the opposite direction on the other. so I just cut it at the corner and flip it around and use a string or zip tie and tie the two pieces back together so no it flows all one direction….. just passing little info along:)
have always loved your blog for years and happy for your success, Merry Christmas!
Loving every little detail of your Christmas Decor! And those adorable children just make the pictures! Looking forward to adding my own next Christmas! :) Merry Christmas Emily!
Emily, I think this is just perfection! I love all the greenery, so elegant and serene.
Lovely home. I’m dying to know where your sconces on your gallery wall are from. I’m looking for some just like it.
I love your style. Your home is lovely and the natural greenery choices you have made are so tasteful. I just bought a home and am struggling to get my Christmas decor right!!! You have given me inspiration. Thank you !
What color is your door?
It’s Amazon Jungle by Olympic.
What color paint in that front door?
Your house is so beautiful! I came across this blog as I was looking for lights for my dining room. Where is your light from (the one hanging above the dining table in the room with the bookshelf wall)? I LOVE your decorating style!!
It was a lantern I picked up at Habitat ReStore and painted.
Do you mind telling me what color your front door is?
Love the Doxology! Beautiful home. Thanks for sharing!
Where is that beautiful light fixture from above the dining table? Makes such a statement!
It’s the Knox pendant–from ShopTen25.
What color is your front door? I adore it.
What color green is your front door? Would love that color for our door.
