So lovely, Emily. All of your “real life” shots are so sweet, and truly what make a house a home! Your mantle is lovely, and your porch is so inviting! I just switched out my glass lanterns from over my island because with them being over the stove, I couldn’t keep them clean. One of those things I never thought about before I lived with it! Still love yours!

Yay for flocked trees, I want to have one again, maybe next year? And the colorful family room tree tree with family ornaments is so sweet. But I am dying to know where you found the “hunting boots” on your front porch. They would be perfect for my equestrian loving daughter!

So pretty and the perfect amount of Christmas decorating, I scaled back a ton this year and feel like the house has never looked better. I love how the twins are always together in the photos like two little peas in a pod! They really need to stop growing up, they are getting way too big! Merry Christmas!!

    Gorgeous,
I love visiting your blog. Thank you for staying in there for those of us that work outside the home. You truly are in inspiration from God. I have wanted to share that I am so proud of the fact that you do not drink or at least there is no sign of anything like that on your blog. I truly admire that. My husband and I are not drinkers. Where did the black chairs come from, if I may ask? Also, in the winter future, do you think you could put some organizational hints or what is your cleaning schedule, (maybe you have a cleaning person?) or what might help me or us with a house like yours that always looks to clean & tidy. Thanks again. Merry Christmas and I hope you and your precious family have a blessed Christmas Holiday! In Christ’s Love, M

Did you get your fresh garland from Sams or Costco? I get mine there every year, and just a little tip… it bugged me when it will lay flat on one side and hang the opposite direction on the other. so I just cut it at the corner and flip it around and use a string or zip tie and tie the two pieces back together so no it flows all one direction….. just passing little info along:)
have always loved your blog for years and happy for your success, Merry Christmas!
