You may already be familiar with Wayfair’s site. (It’s like the Amazon of home décor.) I’ve ordered several things for our home and for clients in the past. It’s pretty much a one-stop shop, carrying lots of different styles and brands. In fact, they claim to have “a zillion things home.” So, I decided to put them to the test by taking a few of my all-time favorite images and recreating the rooms with products only pulled from Wayfair.
Not only was I able to find close versions of all of the items, but they make it easy to refine your searches, so I was able to pull most of these together very quickly. (I listed the exact names so you can easily search for specific products here, if you see anything you like.)

(One other quick thing to note about Wayfair. . . I recently learned that the flash sale site Joss & Main is also owned by the same company. So, you’ll see a lot of the same items. Good to know in case you hesitate on a flash sale and miss out on something. You might be able to find it—or a similar product—again on Wayfair.)
Thanks to Wayfair for partnering with me on this post.
Awesome work !!!
These sites are more than Amazing!!! Have found some outdoor drapery panels that I will order later. Can’t beat the prices!
Great post! I have always wanted to challenge myself to decorate a room using only one site! Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow, that’s really impressive!
Wow, great post!! I think I’m going to buy the Ave Six Andrew Chair for my kitchen office nook. Thanks!
Such fun..! Amazing work, and
it certainly needed your good eye.
Love the possibilities.
While I love to shop online, as the owner of a small brick and mortar home furnishings and home decor store in Reading, PA I struggle with Wayfair (and many other online stores). I have accounts with Cyan Design, Surya, and Kichler just to name a few and I am approached weekly by customers that are price shopping. It is a challenge for them to understand that while they are looking for a deal, I have rent, heat, and electric bills all the while keeping my prices competitive.
I’ve been a faithful reader of your blog and love that you share your daily life with design work.
Let’s support small business and shop local instead of the online warehouse websites.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for sharing this perspective Tamara. It’s always nice to be able to buy something hands-on in a store like yours, with easy returns as well. On the other hand, it’s also wonderful to be able to buy so many things in one place like Wayfair. Kind of a dilemma!
