Yes, I *may* be thinking about Fall decorating. Another ten degrees cooler (plus my pumpkin coffee), and I definitely will be. I do like the thought of cozying up our home for the season.
If you’re wondering where to start, I’ve teamed up with Kirkland’s to bring you a few trends I feel like we’ll continue to see in the coming months (with some accessory ideas for how to incorporate them into your home below).
I think antlers will continue to pop up everywhere, especially in more fun (faux) forms like metallics and textures—like this distressed white deer head wall plaque that I ordered from the Kirkland’s website.
Animal print fabrics in the form of upholstery, window treatments or even just one pillow can instantly warm up a room. And, most will act as a neutral so they’re easy to mix in with other patterns that you may already have going on in your space.
PS—Yes, you can use more than one animal print in the same room!
I think industrial-inspired furniture and accessories are great to work into a room for texture, no matter what your overall style. Think distressed, warm wood tones mixed with different metals.
In case you haven’t checked out Kirkland’s lately, they have some really good options for bringing Fall into your home. (By the way, I’ve found several great pieces on their site that aren’t available in the store.)
