I don’t actually use wood cutting boards very much, but I do love them for accessorizing and bringing texture into a kitchen. I found this one while treasure hunting last week, and thought it looked more like a piece of art. So, I went with that idea and gave it a few stripes.

I had everything I needed already on hand: painter’s tape, a measuring tape to check my lines, a 99 cent paint brush and some glossy black paint.
The “no. 7” was part of a larger stencil I had but had never used. I thought it gave it more of a vintage look.
Now to look for more cutting boards to paint. . .
