I’ve been slowly tweaking our bedroom since we moved in and finally got around to giving the bedding a little update.
Up until now, I’d been using the same white (monogrammed) Euro shams, some ticking stripe pillow cases and a combination of black, white and blue. For the most part, I’ve always just used the down comforter on our bed without a duvet cover.
I wanted it to be a little more colorful and have a finished look, but I’m still a fan of (mostly) white bedding. So, I went with a white duvet and Euro shams that had a deep blue/Indigo banding. It added just the right amount of color. I had been saving the animal print fabric for a while, and the floral/dragon print was a recent find I blogged about here.
I also opted for simple, white sheets with just a little embroidered detail.

Thanks to Crane & Canopy for the duvet and sheet sets for this post.
very classic and cozy. I love the kick of animal print too.
Thanks, Erin. I’ve been itching to use that animal print somewhere.
Beautiful!!
Great choice in accent pillows! Really layered in more style!
Love the new pillows, they look fabulous. Hugs, Marty
Love it all friend! It is so clean and classic with a little punch of Emily A. Clark!
Whatever that means! Ha! Thanks, Amy :)
So great to see that Dwell Studio fabric looking so great on your beautiful bed as I just ordered a sample of it for a project. I love Crane & Canopy and it looks great in your bedroom!
I always love your bedroom! Such pretty updates

Thanks. I’m glad the pillows have the Eddie Ross stamp of approval. Makes me happy :)
Emily,
Your bedroom looks really nice. I am going to check out Crane & Canopy.
Love the blue border in your space Emily :) I have that set in gray and I love the way the fabric feels and zipper closures. Great bedding…and hello animal print! Love it! xo Kristin
That is a gorgeous duvet! I recently made the switch to an all white down comforter and I LOVE the look! It’s so fresh and clean.
So pretty! Love the navy with all the white!
OK…maybe I am slipping but this is the first I have seen that awesome fabric….and now for the second time in 2 days. Gotta get me a sample:)
Looks so clean and fresh…. very lovely! Are your drapes custom? I love them, too!
No, they’re from IKEA :)
Your new bedding looks great! I’ve heard a lot of buzz about Crane & Canopy bedding and was thinking of ordering a duvet set and some sheets for myself. Please tell me – are they as plush and soft and comfortable as they look? Thanks!
This is so cute, Emily! I love the blues!!
Love your bedroom!
Just a question about your preference for “just the down quilt without a duvet”.– how frequently do you need to clean the quilt and HOW do you do it?
Are you getting rid of your old ticking stripe stuff? ;)
Where did you get the original black and white pillows on your bed? Are you hanging onto those? :)
Where are the black and white and blue pillows from on the old bed setup? Love them!
Our living room for now :)
I meant where did you get them? :)
What about this mirror! I absolutely love it.
I have one that is (or looks) exactly like that one…surprisingly i bought mine from rooms to go!
Is that a white blanket at the end of the bed under the duvet? That is what I need another layer of white. Can you share the source? I don’t see it listed. Love the change – looks beautiful. Love all the layers!
Yes, I have these on almost all of the beds–Egyptian Cotton Blanket from Kohl’s
awesome – thanks!
Such a classic look! Love the black desk and rattan chair. Could you share the source for the chair?
A local thrift store :)
The room looks great! I love the Shoji White. Can you tell me what trim color you like with it?
I just looked deeper and saw, in an earlier comment on another post, that your trim is Alabaster. Is the ceiling a different white?
I think so, but it was already painted when we moved in.
