It always seems like I find the best things for our home when I’m not looking. If I go out shopping intentionally to find the perfect tray for our coffee table or light for our foyer, it’s never going to happen. Or, I might force the issue and buy something I don’t 100% love to just have something. And, we all know how we end up feeling about those purchases in the long run.
I’ve blogged about flash sale sites quite a bit. (The ones that send deals/sales to your inbox on a regular basis.) I like and use them because you never know what you’re going to find. And, while I’d go to a flea market or thrift store every day to search out cool pieces if I could, not everybody even has these resources close by—or the time to go.
I scan the sales on My Habit (Amazon’s flash sale site for home and fashion finds) on a regular basis for inspiration and to look for those different statement pieces that pop up. I don’t think your home has to be overly accessorized to feel personal. Sometimes, it just takes a few special things (framed art, a new blanket for your bed, a runner for the kitchen, etc.) to make a room start to feel like “you.”
To give you some examples, I rounded up some of my favorite statement pieces that are currently on sale at My Habit:
All of these sales last 72 hours, so grab it quickly if you like it! They also offer credit for referring your friends. You can sign up with your email address and start shopping here:

I like My Habit but I find them pricey…
I really love the Moroccan side tables. Nice way to add rustic and global trends in the same piece!
I signed up for My Habit but the emails I receive are only for clothing items. How to do I shop for home decor items?
