I recently saw this image and really liked how casual just tacking art on the wall without framing feels:
Curious Details (great blog, btw)
Who says everything has to be framed and matted? Or, maybe I’ve just come full-circle to the days when I would tack up my New Kids on the Block posters. . .
A few other ideas for displaying frameless art:
Binder clips (great idea for rotating kids’ artwork)

I love the clipboards. So fun.
Binder clips caught my eye. Grandkids’ artwork may bounce off refrigerator and onto a wall.
So fun Emily, love all the ideas!
Very cute ideas, I love the binder clips and clipboard ideas, great for office of kids. Have a great weekend.

I love that last image with the clipboards en masse. Such a unique display!
Love the look! With my luck the corners would all curl up.
Totally have this in my kitchen over the cutting board area. I think it works if the rest of the space is polished enough to make it look like a deliberate choice and not a lack of funds :)
No Offense… but this set up looks good only in those photo shopped images. Not quite sure it looks good in person. I have small kids and their random scribbles also look like great art when I frame them…
Anything that’s easier works for me. And, I had Ralph Macchio and River Phoenix posters. ;)
Don’t you wish we all had pictures of our rooms back in the day?!
Love it Emily! I think simple is good!
I have seen a lot of this too lately and I think it is really pretty! The clipboard idea is neat too :)

the clipboards are my favorite!
Ha! I used to hang up my NKOTB posters with chewed bubble gum! My mom wasn’t too happy with that. I won’t be doing that on my own walls but I do love the gold tape and the tacks. Thanks!
Dang, I forgot to include that one in my post :) I could so see my girls doing that!
