The kids and I are spending some time with my parents this week, and I took some pictures of their back yard for you. One of my favorite spots is the little fish pond:
While I would love to have one of these in our yard, it’s not going to happen. I can’t see me ever removing the fish and cleaning it out. My kids, on the other hand, thought this job was fabulous fun!
My hydrangeas are still babies but it’s exciting to think about what they might be one day:
Now, I want to pot some of these elephant ears when I get home. I love them mixed with the lantana.
My dad built this arbor using old windows. . .
And, even though I’m not a fan of frogs in general, I do like this idea. He ordered glow-in-the-dark paint and stenciled a few frogs on the stepping stones. They glow at night, but you’ll just have to take my word for it.
Please keep voting—and a small update! I’ve had a few people say that the voting form on PB’s site is taking forever to load. The PB blog team says it works best with Chrome or Firefox web browsers. Hopefully, it should take less than half a minute to vote each day. Thanks!
