My Nature-Inspired Christmas Tree

November 19, 2012 18 Comments

emilyaclark.com

I had lots of fun decorating a little early for this year’s Home Depot Holiday Style Challenge.  They sent each participating blogger several holiday items and left the rest up to us.  I took my inspiration from nature, using succulents and branches.

See more of the room over at the Home Depot Apron blog.

Just beautiful. I cannot believe you have a tree up, I still have Halloween decor to put away, haha.

Lovely! One of these years I’ll do a tree that is more themed like this. Or maybe I just need to add a second tree to the house?

This will be the first year we do two trees. The other one will be a live tree–and a free-for-all for the kids to decorate!

So pretty, Emily! The succulents were such a creative touch. Love how your room is so multi-functional, and your fun green stools at the table are a great mix!

Such a beautiful tree! I love the idea of having two trees. One for the designer mama and one for the kiddos! I might do it this year too!
