A Goodwill Bowl Turned Pendant

October 4, 2012

I just ran across this project the other day and wanted to show you why you might not want to pass up that brass bowl next time you’re at Goodwill.

Using a simple light kit, Kristin turned this bowl into a beautiful pendant to hang over her kitchen sink:

Genius! I absolutely LOVE this Goodwill hack! Not that I need another reason to buy more thrifted brass goodies but this pendant will definitely have me on the lookout even more! :)

I love love Kristen’s DIY decorating ideas she shares on her blog – the girl’s canopy idea is one of my favorites – and the wicker chair in her kitchen – love!

Oh good gracious. This is one of those slap-yourself-on-the-head-why-didn’t-I-think-of-that-instead-of-passing-that-bowl-up-as-too-80s ideas. It looks gorgeous in her kitchen!
