I love how adding a little green can breathe life into a kitchen, and topiaries are my favorite choice:

One Kings Lane is actually a good source for fresh topiaries. Here are a few of my favorites from their current “Entertaining En Provence” sale:
Thanks to One Kings Lane for sponsoring this post.
I love topiaries, and want to collect more. Have a great day Emily!

Loooove topiaries. I have a few boxwoods right here on my desk next to me. Adding a bit of life to a space through plants or flowers can work wonders!
I love topiaries. Very nice your blog.

I am loving that too! My only problem is that it seems that I have a black thumb not a green one. : (
Ooooh, I love these, Emily, esp, the one placed by the sink!
Oh I would love that Rosemary topiary! I bet it smells delish too!
Funnily enough, we’ve been messing around in our bathroom this week and one of the plants from there has temporarily found itself on our kitchen windowsill. I was just thinking earlier how a little foilage looked great in the kitchen!
Now that i am finally up and almost adam, i will have to pop over and see those pretty little Kings Lane Topiaries! Thanks for your well wishes and your support of me! Means the world!
Emily – I am sure I could “google” this question but since you have first hand experience… I was curious how long do these topiaries usually last? I would love to add one to my kithen or entryway. Also- is that your kitchen area pictured above? I love the drying rack! Such a unique idea. Lindsey – Peaches Burlap Sack
I think I have bought at least ( and no joke) a hundred topiaries for our kitchen. Probably more than a hundred actually!! I have had a love affair with them for the longest time!! They actually prefer the outdoors – so I buy 2 at a time to rotate them in and out! They last longer for me that way.
LOVE topiaries by the kitchen sink. Thanks for reminding me!

herbs are my favorite pop of green in the kitchen!
@Peaches I *wish* that were my kitchen. Mine is actually shown in the post right before this.
I’m not sure about the shelf-life of live topiaries. As my dad tells me, they do better with water :) (I don’t seem to be very good at that.) I like @Just Spiff It’s idea of buying an extra one, or two, and rotating them in and outdoors.
