Remember the Windsor Smith fabric that I used (and happened to find in a remnant bin) for curtains in the breakfast nook of our old house?
I often get emails asking for the fabric source, so when I recently spotted this new Braemore fabric online, I wanted to share since it’s similar but at a much better price point:
The chartreuse is my favorite but it also comes in a few other colors . . .
And, check out these companion fabrics. I think a combination of these would make for a really happy breakfast nook or dining room:
All of these fabrics are available here.
Those would be fantastic together. Fabric.com is such a great resource! Love your old breakfast nook!

Hi Emily,
I was just on fabric.com last night for quite a while and fell in love with those Emperor’s Garden prints. Now I just have to decide what color and where I’ll put them. They are so unique, now decisions, decisions….
Lovely. Makes me really wish I could sew!!
Hi Emily,
Love the fabrics! I noticed the panels do not go all the way to the ground. I have not seen that before and I like it! do you have a better picture?
What fantastic prices. I’ve been looking for something like these for my basement renovation. Thanks for the heads up!
What a lovely fabric!
I just ordered outdoor fabric from fabric.com! Your old breakfast room is still a favorite of mine! Really love the contrast of the brown stripes and the fabric panels you choose!!
I posted about the Emperor’s garden fabric. I love the blossom colorway and plan to use it in either my daughter’s bedroom or playroom. It’s so fun and is really gorgeous in person!

Just ordered the Emperors garden fabric in chartreuse. I love it now just deciding what to do with it!
I love the Braemore fabric and have been drooling over it ever since your post. But I just couldn’t bring myself to pay $20+ per yard. I just saw this P Kaufman fabric at fabric.com that looks almost exactly the same for less than half the price! I may have to buy this!
Thanks for inspiring!!
