Christmas Card Tree

November 29, 2011

THIS idea I love for Christmas cards. . .  I’m thinking I need to go on a hunt for sticks in my yard.  I always throw my cards in a basket and never enjoy them like I should.  This would work perfectly on our front entry table (you know, the one in front of the vent, for now).

Speaking of cards, here’s the post I wrote last year about our previous family Christmas cards (in case you need a laugh).

Somehow I missed that post last year. That is too too funny though. I love the christmas card tree—I think I might use that too. Unfortunately I usually throw mine in a box too….this is a great way to really enjoy them.

Great idea!! I don’t have a great place to put them on a wall or door, and this would be so cute.

Aren’t sticks the cure-all for everything? Love the idea!

I did this years ago and it looked gorgeous. I had the perfect vase for it but gave it away. Really regret it now since I would love to do this again!

I replicated this exact same look earlier today. Now if only people would begin sending their Christmas cards!

Very pretty. I put mine on a small Christmas tree I have in an urn in my entry way. That way I can fit more cards on it.

I saw that photo on pinterest a few weeks ago and am displaying my Christmas cards that way this season. I put the branches in a decorative pitcher, and it’s the centerpiece on my breakfast table.

We’re planning on doing this-I have some red sparkly branches from Home Goods for it. I just need to find the right vessel!
