Rustic-Inspired Finds

I wouldn’t say my style is rustic by any means, but I find myself more and more drawn to pieces that have some wear, some texture, and a story (or at least look like they do. . .). I think almost any room can benefit from a little rustic being thrown in the mix—even if it’s as small as an accent table. Adding something that’s not perfect keeps everything from looking too fussy, too trendy, too shiny new.

I’ve always associated HauteLook with designer fashion, but I recently found that they have a whole home section devoted to bargains. The Rustic Vintage Décor sale is going on now and has some really great pieces for adding a little character to your home:

Your house can look like you scoured antique shops without ever leaving your computer :) This sale ends on Tuesday.

HauteLook offers free shipping on orders over $100 and easy online and in-store returns. To shop the Rustic Vintage Décor sale and more, you’ll need to sign up with your email address here.

Thanks to HauteLook for partnering with me on this post.

Great Deal On An Embosser

I wanted to pass along this deal that’s currently on LivingSocial and expires tomorrow (Wednesday). I received one of these embossers as a gift in a blogger gift exchange a couple of years ago and use it all of the time—especially for Christmas cards. They have a way of making inexpensive notecards look a little more special.

I think they’d make a great personalized gift for upcoming Spring events—weddings, birthdays, housewarming, graduation, Mother’s Day. . .

The Mason Row embossers normally sell for $60, but LivingSocial has them for $29 right now. Mine has our address, but I also like the ones with an initial or monogram for making quick gift tags.

If you don’t currently receive daily deals in your inbox from LivingSocial, you can sign up here. I personally always look out for restaurant deals and places to take the kids :)
