There are few things I like better than summer nights on our patio, especially when we have friends over to grill out. I normally use the console table under the covered corner to set up food and drinks so that everyone can just help themselves. To get ready for this summer, I teamed up with Kirkland’s to pull together a little patriotic spread using some red, white and blue serving pieces I found on their site.
I started by draping an extra piece of blue Ikat fabric over the console table and hung a flag I found at Goodwill. I used an old stool and an extra end table turned on its side to create layers and for extra surface space.
I’ve become the official guacamole maker in our house, so I ordered this bowl to serve it in:
For the hamburger toppings, I used this pretty cobalt blue tray :
These little blue baking dishes are my favorites. I love how the colors work with the blue and white dishes I already have, and they’re a great size for serving fruits, ice cream toppings, condiments, etc. The strawberry pie is in this pretty curvy pie plate.
And, here’s where I confess to not making the pie, in case you were wondering. (Local friends, See Jane Bake made this and it was so, so good!)
One of my readers will win a $50 gift card to Kirkland’s! To enter, just use the Rafflecopter form below. I’ll post the winner on June 4th.
